For unmatched ease of use, the DR-7080C allows users to start scanning directly from the operation panel. Additionally, with Job Mode users can save settings for tasks such as Scan to Mail or Scan to Print, and later access these settings through the operation panel.

The DR-7080C's expanded capabilities include a high-speed USB 2.0 or SCSI-III interface, intelligent automatic image rotation, Multistream support, and 600 dpi optical resolution. Multistream technology enables the DR-7080C to simultaneously output two images from a single scan, in a variety of combinations: full-color, black-and-white, grayscale, binary or RGB color dropout, resulting in the ability to capture images for multiple applications at high speed.
